In uncertain times it is essential to be particular about where you get your information from. The well-informed business is the one that is more likely to weather the storm, and as we are in the middle of the storm right now, it is essential to engage one’s intuitive compass, use common sense and discernment to get proper advice to steer as safe a course as possible.

Official Advice

Work from home and only go out for reasons of food, exercise or unavoidable work
Stay 6 feet (2 meters) away from people when out
Wash your hands (for 20 secs) in warm soapy water or use a cleanser as soon as you get home and between activities and especially when using public toilets.
Don’t touch your face, as your fingertips especially usually harbour pathogens that could get into your eyes or up your nose or mouth or into your ears.
Wear a mask only if you wish to protect others from your sputum. Note: A regular (none professional N95) PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ) mask will not protect you from external pathogens. If you have tobe in the workplace or out in public, then wearing a mask is perhaps a good idea if you have a cough or cold, in order to protect people from your sputum from any coughing or sneezing.
Wear latex gloves when caring for people, especially the elderly, who tend to be more vulnerable to pathogens due to pre-existing medical conditions and low immune systems. These gloves can also help protect you from catching infections, whether fungal, viral, or otherwise.

Take responsibility for your health, safety, and wellbeing, and do the research.
Boost your immune system as this is your best way to protect yourself. These are the ways …
– Supplements including Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and Zinc with tonic water
– Get into the Sun as this helps to rebalance the body including replenishing Vitamin D
– Regular exercise
– Good nutrition with an alkaline pH bias. Eat fresh vegetables (especially greens) and fruit. Meat undermines your immune system *
– Drink plenty of mineral water where possible regularly (ensure your water company does not put industrial fluoride into the water supply)
– Meditation will significantly boost your immune system and foster coherence between your heart and brain. The science behind this is called Heartmath, which is also a specific course and technique for facilitating coherence with an outcome of better physical health, brain function, and mental health. **
– Grounding/Earthing connects you to the earth’s natural electricity, which helps your immune system. Gardening is an excellent way to do this.
– Sufficient and good quality sleep. This goes a long way to boost the immune system and promote peak health and performance.
– Stay positive. Anything other than this can affect specific areas of the body and undermine both physical and mental health and compromises emotional intelligence.
– Respect the current social distancing advice if only to respect those people who wish to practice it, even if you feel there is no problem. This will maintain greater harmony in the workplace and out in the greater world. We are all different and have different degrees of awareness and knowledge. We also have different belief systems. If we lose respect for each other based on any of these criteria, then we start to lose our humanity, and we give fear it’s best chance to get the better of us.
THINGS TO AVOID:-
Do not abuse drugs, smoke, or vape .. this undermines your immune system and can compromise your heart and lung function, which are two of the weakest and most vulnerable
points when the body is in stress.
Do not fear! Fear produces the stress hormone cortisol, which shuts down the immune system, leaving you open to infection and undermines your mental health.
Certain doctors have put out messages warning people and doctors not to prescribe or take Ibuprofen, as it has been reported that Ibuprofen has been found in the majority of cases of
death by COVID-19. This may be coincidental. Consider an alternative pain relief to err on the side of caution here.
Note: If you are waiting for a vaccine and see this as the answer for protection, think again. For a start, such a vaccine is not expected to be made available until next year. Secondly, vaccines can come with side effects. Thirdly and most importantly, your best way to keep safe is to maintain a strong immune system, which keeps you really healthy and is your best protection from any
a perceived threat such as a virus (real or otherwise) or any other pathogen.
